Flushing the Trace - Webinar Question on 3/27/07

You say to disconnect to flush the trace, what about tracing through pooled web connections?

In connection pools, it is slightly difficult to disconnect. I would recommend that you read Cary's book "Optimizing Oracle Performance". He discusses how to do proper tracing in these environments.

Also, consider using Hotsos ILO (Instrumentation Library for Oracle) to instrument the SQL.
