DTrace and Other Operating Systems - Webinar Question on 4/24/07

Are Dtrace utilities available on other OS's than Solaris?

Both Mac OS X and FreeBSD have ports of DTrace (although not all functionality is available). Any OS is capable of having a DTrace port as long as they are willing to accept the CDDL license (which is a very flexible license). Linux can not directly port DTrace as the GPL is not terribly agreeable to mixed licensing schemes due to its viral nature.
