Installation of Profiler with SQL Developer - Webinar 9/18/07

Does Hotsos Profiler need to be installed on the same PC as Oracle's SQLdeveloper?  Is there any other setup needed?

Yes, the integration requires SQL Developer and Hotsos Profiler installation on the same PC.

I cannot seem to get mine to work. it installs correctly but when I attempt to profile a query, nothing happens.

Thanks for reporting the problem, but we'll need a little more information to be able to help you. What version of the extension are you using? You can find this information in the preferences page, or in the About page. To what version of the RDBMS are you connecting?

Also, it would be most helpful if you turned on logging as described in the Help screen or on the portal, then send us the log at FINE level.
